Luna Lovegood skipped down the 4th floor corriddor, her long, waist length blonde hair flowing behind her, her dazed looking blue eyes sparkling. She was going to greet the thestrals - she had her black messenger bag slung around her left shoulder, and in it some apples and meat. Luna loved meeting the thestrals at the end of the week; even though no body could she them, she guessed it would be better because then she wouldn't be alone with them all the time.
Well, most of the time. Sometimes she caught Harry Potter there with them aswell, and the two made some conversation, but other than him the thestrals got no other visits from anyone besides herself.

George Weasley was walking along the fourth floor corridor when he recognized someone from the D.A. "Hey Luna!" George yelled after her, quickening his pace.

Luna heard Georgie and stopped, whizzing around to face him, smiling faintly, her eyes dazed. "Hello, Georgie." She smiled. Getting his name wrong and not noticing - hey, that was Luna for you.

George was used to being called Georgie by Luna by now and didn't find any point in correcting her again. "Whatcha been up to? Haven't seen you around lately." George said, striking up a conversation.

"Oh, visiting the thestrals, doing schoolwork, trying to relieve the earth-boggarts off my case ... the usual." Luna replied dreamily, looking over to Georgie with dazed eyes. "How about you?"
